Associate Professor Ravi Tiruvoipati, MBBS, MS, M Ch, FRCSEd, MSc, FCICM, EDIC is a Staff Specialist in Intensive Care and Director of Intensive Care Research at Frankston Hospital, Frankston and the Director of Intensive Care at Peninsula Private Hospital.
Ravi Tiruvoipati has worked for more than 4 years as a fellow in ECMO and Intensive care at Glenfield Hospital, Leicester. He published several research papers on neonatal, paediatric and adult ECMO. He is one of the investigators of the CESAR Trial that compared conventional ventilation and ECMO for the treatment of severe acute respiratory failure in adults. His research interests include sepsis, extracorporeal life supports safety and quality in delivery of health care in critically ill. He has published research articles in peer reviewed journals and has delivered invited talks in several national and international conferences.
