Biography
Dr. Raveendran. A.V did his graduation from Govt. medical college, Kozhikode, Kerala and post-graduation from K.I.M.S, Hubli, Karnataka. He also did PG Diploma in Health Science in Diabetology (PGDHSc Diabetology) from Annamalai University, Tamil Nadu, PG certificate course in Rheumatology from IMA AKN Sinha Institute, New Delhi, Post Graduate Diploma In Health Science Research (PGDHSR) from Kerala University, Fellowship Certificate in Sexual Medicine from IMA College of General Practitioners, Tamil Nadu. He worked as Asst. Professor of medicine in Govt. Medical College, Kozhikode, Kottayam and Manjeri, training the undergraduate and postgraduate students. He is currently working as Specialist in Internal Medicine in Badr Al Samaa, Barka, Sultanate of Oman. He has been practicing as internist & Diabetologist in Kerala for the past 10 years. His area of special interest includes diabetology, haematology, rheumatology and sexual medicine.
He published more than 150 health education articles in various health magazines and newspapers. He is the author of regular health awareness column ?Do? in one of the leading Malayalam health magazines for the last 7 yrs. He contributed a chapter in ?Sarvarogavignanakosam? a Malayalam health encyclopedia.
Dr. Raveendran has papers and publications to his name in national and international journals, and has participated in various conferences including annual conference of International Medical Science Academy and JPEF international conference. He received Fellowship of International Medical Science Academy (F.I.M.S.A) in 2015.
