Biography

I graduated with a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 2017 from South Dakota State University and with a Masters in Pharmaceutical Chemistry in 2012 from Fairleigh Dickinson University. My PhD thesis is based on understanding the role of Aspirin and its metabolites in prevention of colon cancer. During this time, I also worked on other projects including development of liposomes for glutathione disulfide delivery and delivery of chemotherapeutic drugs using hydrophobically modified poly-saccharides. Currently I am working as a Research Scientist at Foresee Pharmaceuticals, DE USA, where we work on polymer based drug delivery and pre-filled syringes.

Research Interest

My research interests include, Cancer Prevention, Chemotherapy, Aspirin, Salicylic acid, c-Myc, p-53, Cell Cycle, Natural Products and Cancer Prevention, Dihydroxy Benzoic Acids, Liposomes and Naoparticles, Oxidative stress, Glutathione and Curcumin.
