Biography
Dr. Mir Yasir Arfat is working as Research Associate at Department of Biochemistry, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Aligarh Muslim University, India. He received his Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Aligarh Muslim University, India. He has published many papers in reputed international journals. He has qualified several national level competitions (NET, GATE) and received scholarships right from his schooling. He has presented his work and received awards in many national and international conferences. Dr. Yasir is serving as a reviewer of various international journals. He is an International member of the ââ¬ÅWorld Society Interdisciplinary Anti-Aging Medicine (WOSIAM)ââ¬Â France.
Research Interest
His research work is on rheumatology. Main focus of his research is induction of circulating autoantibodies in rheumatoid arthritis due to structural alterations in IgG upon oxidative/nitrosative stresses generating neoepitopes. Developing a diagnostic biomarker for rheumatoid arthrits and better insights into the root cause of the disease are also his research concern.
