Biography

Dr. Deepak Kumar Nayak is a Research Assistant Professor in Norton Thoracic Institute in St Joseph?s Hospital and Medical Center, Phoenix,. He did his PhD in Microbiology from University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS (2010). He did M.S in Biomedical Sciences from University of Mississippi Medical Center, Jackson, MS (2007). He also did his M.S.in Biology, University of Agricultural Sciences, Bangalore, India (2002). His current research is supported by Flinn Foundation in Promoting Translational Research in Precision Medicine for a project on ?Investigating club cell secretory protein as a regulator of pulmonary autoimmunity and a prognosticator of graft failure in transplanted lungs?. he is a member of International Society for Heart and Lung Transplantation. He is a lifetime member of Professional Fisheries Graduates Forum. He is also having membership of American Association of Immunologists,International Society of Developmental and Comparative Immunology and Sigma Xi, The Scientific Research Society. He is serving as an editorial board member for many reputed journals.

Research Interest

Isolation and in vitro culture of murine ,human alveolar macrophages, T. B Cell-Activating Transcription and Dysregulated microRNA expression.
