The major interests of our lab are inductive signal pathways which are important for regulating tumorigenesis and the homeostasis of stem cells. We use Drosophila, chicken, mouse and monkey as model systems to decipher the fundamental mechanisms. We also applied a new way to identify novel genes involved in cancers by exploring molecular events which are important for evolutionary hypoxia adaptations.
