Biography
Dr Anastasios Malandrakis is a Teaching and Research Associate in the Pesticide Science Lab in the Department of Crop Production Science at Agricultural University of Athens, Greece. He received his Ph.D. degree in Fungicide Resistance from the Agricultural University of Athens and also has a M.sc and B.sc in Agriculture as well as a degree in Production and Management Engineering from the Technical University of Crete. He received an award of excellence from Bayer Crop-Science Hellas for both his Msc. and Ph.D. studies in 2007 and 2009. His research experience includes disease identification, fungal pathogen on trees and vegetables, sample collection, fungicide control and resistance detection (both via biochemical and molecular means) and management . Dr Malandrakis research interests include plant pathology, fungicide mode of action, fungicide resistance detection and management, mycotoxin production, IPM and Biocontrol agents, formulation of fungicides.
