Biography
Dr.K. NATARAJAN is Head of the Department of Chemistry and Dean of School of Chemical Sciences, Bharathiar University. He received his Ph.D. from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 1976, the master?s degree in Analytical and Inorganic Chemistry from the University of Madras in 1972. He has carried out a number of research projects funded by C.S.I.R. and D.S.T. He has published more than 160 research papers in professional journals of international and national importance. He guided a number of research students in their M.Phil. and Ph.D. degrees. He has been awarded with the prestigious Alexander Von Humboldt Fellowship (Germany) to work at University of Konstanz, University of Heidelberg, University of Stuttgart and at the Technical University of Chemnitz, Germany for over four years starting from 1979.
