Biography

Dr.Arul Amuthan, is the first Ethnopharmacologist with blend educational background of Traditional Indian Medicine (MD in Siddha Medicine) and Medical Pharmacology (MSc). He is also pursued MSc.Yoga and Naturopathy as well as PhD (Experimental Pharmacology). Currently he is working as a Pharmacology Lecturer at Melaka Manipal Medical College, Manipal University, India He is the Chairman of Scientific Committee of Indian Siddha Medical Graduates Association. He is the founder and Associate Editor of International Journal of Pharmacology and Clinical Sciences. He serves as the Editorial Board member in Journal of Ayurvedic and Herbal Medicine and the active reviewer in many peer reviewed International journals. He is a dynamic researcher in the area of ethnopharmacology, Traditional Medicine, drug discovery, Yoga, Naturopathy and Integrative Medicine.

Research Interest

Treatment of vitiligo, psoriasis and eczema through Traditional Indian Medicines. Integrative Medicine for the management of cancer, urolithiasis, infertility and diabetic wound.
