Biography
Dipanjan Mazumdar is an Assistant Professor at the Department of Physics, Southern Illinois University, Carbondale since August 2014. After completing his Ph.D in Physics in 2008 from Brown University he joined Center for Materials and Information Technology (MINT Center) at University of Alabama, Tuscaloosa as a Post-Doctoral researcher (2007-10) and then a Research scientist (2010-12). He also taught at the Physics department as an Adjunct Asst. Professor. From UA, he moved to University of Tennessee as a post-doctoral fellow (2012-2014). His research interests are on growth and electronic properties of complex materials and thin-film heterostructures. He has 40 publications.
