Biography
He holds a Bachelor of medicine and Bachelor of surgery and a Ph.D in Cardio-renal physiology. He is currently the chairman post graduate training committee in the department of physiology, University of Uyo, and editorial board member of several international journals/organizations. He has published in several international peer reviewed journals and has presented at several international conferences. He has won several local and international awards due to his numerous contributions in human medicine. Currently he reviews for several local and international journals. His current areas of interest and active research include; Environmental toxicology, Occupational medicine, Cardio-metabolic disorders, Cardio-renal medicine, Nutritional and nutritional disorders, Women health, Phyto-pharmacology, Oxidative stress, Obesity and Public health.
