Biography
Dr. Ashok Jadhav received a Bachelor (2001) and masterââ¬â¢s (2004) degree in Veterinary Science from Bombay Veterinary College, India. He joined Glenmark Pharmaceuticals Ltd. (2003), to do pre-clinical studies of inflammation, asthma, COPD and diabetes of human diseases. During 2006, Dr. Jadhav joined a graduate program in Cardiovascular Research, University of Saskatchewan. His research focused on Heme Oxygenase system and its protective role in Hypertension, Diabetes, Obesity and Renal diseases. After completion of PhD (2009), he worked as Post-doctorate and Research Associate in the Department of Pharmacology, University of Saskatchewan (2009-2012). During this period his research focused on Amino acids, its role on vascular homeostasis. He has completed Veterinary Licensing Examination in Canada/North America under CVMA, and also became an AAVPT fellow in 2014. Currently, Dr. Jadhav working in the Department of Pharmacology as a teaching faculty and teaches Pharmacology to Medical, Dentistry, Pharmacy and under-graduate Physiology-Pharmacology program students.
