Research Interest
My research interest lies in multiple drug resistance (MDR) in bacteria and proteomics. I have investigated about different mechanisms employed by bacteria especially KPC-2 producing MDR strain of Klebsiella pneumoniae to evade even the most advanced and recent antibiotics. I have also identified some novel compounds using in silico approach that exhibited better inhibition of KPC-2 enzyme compared to conventional inhibitors.
