Biography
My name is Ildar Fuatovich Akhtyamov, I was born on 05.03.1960 in Ufa city (Bashkortostan, the former USSR, now the Russian Federation). In 1983 I graduated from Kazan State Medical Institute with a degree in Pediatrics. I got a specialization in special children?s surgery, orthopedics and traumatology. In 1994 I received the degree of Doctor of Medicine. In 2000, I accepted a Professorship at the Chair of Traumatology and Orthopedics at Kazan State Medical University. I am a practicing orthopedic surgeon in the clinics of Kazan Medical University: the Republican Clinical Hospital and the city hospital âââ7 in Kazan. I have more than 300 scientific publications. I am a Member of SICOT.
Research Interest
My main research interests are: orthopedics, arthroplasty, reumoorthopedics, surgery of the hip joint in children and adults.
