Biography
Abdul Razak Ibrahim is a Professor of Crystallography at the School of Physics, Universiti Sains Malaysia (USM), Penang, Malaysia. After finishing his bachelor's degree in Physics from the Universiti Putra Malaysia, he started venturing into small molecule X-ray crystallography research as a research officer. He obtained his master's and doctorate degree in X-ray Crystallography from USM where he now works as a lecturer and researcher since 2002. He is now the head of the X-ray Crystallography laboratory and the Condensed Matter Physics and X-ray Crystallography research group at the School of Physics, USM. He has published many research articles in peer-reviewed journals dealing with single crystal X-ray structures, supramolecular chemistry, structure and spectroscopy and quantum chemical studies.
