Biography

Dr Hill completed his extensive qualifications and training at Brunel University, University of London and Surrey University obtaining an MSc in Psychological Assessment, MA in Modern European Philosophy and, Psych D in Clinical Psychology.

He has worked as a Senior Lecturer at Middlesex University, where he jointly managed a three-year European project that focused on the reduction of patient violence, stress and burnout among community and inpatient mental health personnel in Denmark, Finland, Norway, Poland and the UK.

He has been an Honorary Lecturer in Psychology at the Institute of Psychiatry and an Associate Lecturer for the Open University. He has also had various research posts include a long tenure at The Sainsbury Centre for Mental Health.

He has also been lead clinician within inpatient drug and alcohol services in London including the South London & Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.
