Moner Ragas is a PhD student in the Biomedical Sciences Program. He has joined Dr. Corbett’s lab in the department of Neurosciences, Cell Biology & Physiology and has been involved in cutting-edge research concerning post-stroke drug treatment and evaluation of motor system functional recovery. Moner was awarded the Original Work Grant from the Graduate Student Assembly in 2012.One of his career goals is to be able to translate his research results into effective clinical therapies that can potentially save people from long-lasting motor disability following stroke. |
