Biography

Kirstie joined Middlesex University in 2000 as a senior lecturer. Kirstieregistered as a registered General Nurse in 1992 andpreviously held a range of posts within nursing including; Clinical Nurse Specialist at Northwick Park Hospital, Ward Manager at the Hospital of St. John and St. Elizabeth, Senior Staff Nurse at St. Thomas Hospital and the Middlesex Hospital and Staff Nurse at Edenhall Hospice. Kirstie's clinical nursing background is in medicine and palliative care. Following initial registration as a nurse Kirstie completed a BSc(Hons) in Nursing at Manchester University, an MPhil in medical law at Glasgow University and CPE at Middlesex University. Kirstie also has a PGCHE from Middlesex University and is registered with the NMC as a nurse teacher.
