I am an academic GP with expertise in diabetes, and inequalities in access to healthcare.

I am also involved in the development of a new undergraduate curriculum at the School of Medicine in Cardiff, as Director for Community Based Learning.

I am interested in all aspects of assessment of undergraduate and postgraduate medics, particularly in OSCEs (Objectively Structured Clinical Examination) and simulated clinical examinations.

I also have a research interest in health inequalities and access to health care, with special reference to Diabetes.
