Elmiro Santos Resende earned his Undergraduate Medicine from the Federal University of Uberlândia in UFU, Brazil, in1977. He earned his Doctor in Medicine (PHD) from the Federal University of Sao Paulo in UNIFESP Brazil, in 1986. He has a title of specialist in Cardiology - SBC; Intensive Care - AMIB and Hospital Administration.
