Biography

McNab graduated from medical school at the University of Queensland, Australia in 1993. He began his specialty training in Australia before travelling to Cambridge to complete a Masters in Philosophy in Epidemiology and Medical Statistics in 2000. He then conducted three years of research at Papworth Hospital into chronic refractory angina before returning to Australia to complete his specialty training in cardiology. In 2005 he was appointed as Interventional Fellow at the Greenlane Cardiovascular Service, Auckland, where he underwent sub-specialty training in Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI). Upon completion of this post he returned to East Anglia and was appointed as a consultant cardiologist at Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust and Ipswich Hospital NHS Trust.
