Biography

Czeslaw Czabala since 1966 has been worked in the Institute of Psychiatry and Neurology in Warsaw as the researcher in the Department for Neurotic Patients and the Department of Clinical Psychology and since 1992 to present as the deputy director for research. Since 1998 he is member of the WHO Task Force on Mental Health Assessment.In 1992-1993 he has been Fulbright scholar at Brigham Young University, Provo Utah. He has extensive expertise in research into outcome and process of psychotherapy, family factors related to mental health, mental health promotion projects evaluation. Since 1990 he has been Associate Professor and has been teaching clinical and health psychology at the Jagiellonian University in Krakow. He has over 80 scientific publications, very many papers presented at the national and international conferences. He is a member of the international association, eg. Society for Psychotherapy Research, International Federation for Psychotherapy, International Family Therapy Association, European Health Psychology.
