EMMANUEL IKPE MICHAEL working as a Science Laboratory Technologist, Nigeria.
|Emmanuel Michael is a Cutting-edge Researcher and a Doctoral Student of the Department of Microbiology, University of Benin, Nigeria where he is currently specializing in Environmental and Public Health Microbiology. He obtained a Bachelor of Technology Degree in Microbiology, Institute of Science Laboratory Technology, University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria in 2012, and Master of Science in Applied Microbiology and Brewing (Specialization in Environmental Microbiology) from Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria in 2015. His research interests spans through Environmental Microbiology, Epidemiology and Public Health Microbiology. Much of his work has been on improving the understanding and creating awareness on the beneficial and detrimental aspect of microorganisms. He is very conversant with data collection tools such as Census and Survey Processing System (CSPRO). He has explored the presence and implications of microorganisms on Environmental and Brewing workloads. He has also investigated the implications of epidemiological disease workloads for the design of scalable and cost-effective approaches. In addition he has made numerous contributions to Intestinal Parasitic Infection, HIV/AIDS and modeling microbial isolates in the degradation of crude oil and other environmental pollutants. Emmanuel Michael is the author of Prevalence of Gastro-Intestinal Parasitic Infection among School Children in Port Harcourt City Local Government Area, Nigeria: Journal of Bacteriology and Parasitology, 2017 and is the author of several papers on Environmental Microbiology and Public Health.
