|Anisa Kassim graduated from Emperors College with a Masters Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine (MTOM). She also completed her Masters in Public Health (MPH) from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill. She worked for the Centers for Disease Con trol and Prevention in the area of Global Health for seven years. She currently is a Licensed Acupuncturist and Herbalist and owns a Health Institute where she practices full time. Her areas o f specialty include Postpartum H ealth and Pediatrics. Anisa is a lso a faculty member in the area of Health and Wellness and Integrative Health for a few academic i nstitutions. She is a Certified Ayurvedic Counselor by Greens Academy in Kerala, India.
