Biography

I completed my undergraduate (BS) and post-graduate (MS) degrees in First Class from Magadh University, BodhGaya and MIMT (C.C.S.University, Meerut), India respectively. I joined doctoral research at Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, after competing national examination conducted by Council of Scientific and Industrial Research (CSIR) and Graduate Aptitude Test Examination (GATE). My research specialization is primarily in Plant-microbe interaction, Endophytes related with the medicinal plants, Microbial inoculants, Microbial biotechnology, which I am sure, will be adaptable to many challenges in sustainable agriculture, enhancement in neutraceuticals, bioactive compounds production. During doctoral research, I investigate the bacterial species present in the rhizospheric and endophytic origin associated with the rhizome of turmeric. Total nine rhizospheric and six endophytic bacteria identified on the basis of molecular 16 S rRNA gene sequence analysis. Then after two strains P.fluorescens and Azotobacter chroococcum used as microbial inoculants in the rhizome of turmeric to access their impact on the curcumin content, antioxidant, phenol contents as well as on the morphological extent. I have 17 -peer reviewed publications , five book chapters and several meeting presentations at local and international scientific meetings. I am currently searching for a laboratory to further increase and strengthen my research horizon. I have keen interest in microbial inoculants, endophytes, antibiotic resistance, bioactive compounds productions, I am highly motivated and hardworking person with a strong desire to succeed as a research scientist.
