Thyroid Surgery

Thyroid surgery is used to treat hyperthyroidism, thyroid cancer and nodules. In this procedure it may involves the removal of part or complete thyroid. Small incision is made on the skin and gland is removed through the cut. This procedure can be termed as thyroidectomy.
