Intravenous chelation therapy

It involves intravenous injections of a chelating agent, EDTA (ethylene diamine tetra-acetic acid), a synthetic amino acid. Chelation therapy is treatment used in conventional medicine for removing heavy metals (including mercury) from the blood.
