Gallbladder Surgery

Gall bladder surgery can be performed through a large incision; gall bladder is removed from the abdomen due to gall stones or pain. Surgery can be done using laparoscope can be termed as Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy. This procedure can be majorly performed in United States.

Gallbladder removal is the commonly performed surgical procedures. It is the pear-shaped organ that rests under the right side of the liver. The main purpose is to collect and concentrate a digestive liquid produced by the liver. Bile is released from the gallbladder after eating, aiding digestion. Bile travels through narrow tubular channels known as bile ducts, into the small intestine.
