Calf Muscle Pain

Calf muscle pain is due to injury, underlying medical condition or a problem in the nerves or arteries in the lower leg. It is made up of the gastrocnemius muscle. Calf muscle pain is caused by muscle strain, but can be caused by blood clots in veins of the legs.
