Biography
I am Nevin Hammam, MD, PhD, a lecturer and consultant of Rheumatology and Rehabilitation, Assiut University, Egypt and Postdoctoral fellow at University of Alberta, Canada. I got my medical degree from Faculty of Medicine, Assiut University, Egypt. My doctorate Degree (PhD) of Rheumatology obtained from Freiburg University- Germany, and Assiut University-Egypt. I had one year as research Fellow; Wake Forest Institute for Regenerative Medicine, Winston Salem, NC, USA. During my clinical Fellow period in Rheumatology and Rehabilitation Department, Assiut University, Egypt, I awarded DAAD research scholarship from German Academic Exchange Service at Clinical Research Unit of Rheumatology, Freiburg University, Germany, and also a research travel grant fellowship from The UK Academy of Medical Science, at Leeds Institute of Rheumatic and Musculoskeletal Medicine, Leeds, UK. I received many of travel bursaries from different international rheumatology associations and also faculty grants from Assiut Faculty of Medicin. Recently, I received a WCHRI innovation grant 2017.
