Dr. Luigina Guasti

Biography

Luigina Guasti completed Degree in Medicine and Surgery in 1983 magna cum laude (top ten percent graduate) University of Pavia. Done his PhD in Cardiovascular Pathophysiology in 1994. Awarded ?Hypertension Specialist? European Society of Hypertension (2005). He is the Fellow of the American Heart Association ?FAHA? in 2011 and ?FESC?, Fellow of the European Society of Cardiology (2016). Chief of the Research Center on Dyslipidemia (since 2008) of the University of Insubria (participated by over 15 faculty members including internists, cardiologists, pneumologists, pharmacologists, vascular surgeons, genetists, neurologists) devoted to research on cardiovascular prevention, dyslipidemias and atherosclerosis, and to drafting/coordination of research projects, promotion/participation in educational initiatives and fund rising.
