Insulin contents in pancreases were normalized with protein concentration of the extracts. Pancreas extracts from TRH-treated rats contained higher amounts of insulin than controls (2,413±845 ng/mg vs. 855±115 ng/mg, mean±SD normalized; n=12 in each group; P< 0.001).
