Cultured BRIN-BD11 cells were incubated in the absence (control) or presence (grey) of 100 μM efaroxan plus either interleukin-1beta (2 ng/mL) or GSNO (250 μM) as shown. Following incubation for 24 h the medium was sampled and assayed for nitrite as an index of NO production. Each point represents the mean value±SEM (n=8).
