According to the importance of mineral materials in the nutrition, it seems that iodine is really important for the health of animals. This study has been done in four different places in the east of Iran (Province of Semnan). After measurement the activation process was done for iodine element. All the factors in examination are included such as: sex (in two levels) and the kind of animal (in three levels). In each test 10 animals were chosen. The results showed that the iodine of blood serum in different seasons is really changeable. The highest level of iodine is found in autumn and the lowest level of iodine is found in the spring. The effects of sex is really important in the density of iodine in the blood of animals (P<0.05). Also the kind of animal has so much influence on the iodine of blood serum (P<0.05).
