Biography | ||
Dr. Marta Isabel Fonseca Gravito Soares has received his MD in Faculty of Health Sciences of Beira Interior University during the period of 01-01-2010 to 15-06-2011. Currently, she is working as Gastroenterologist in Coimbra University Hospital, Portugal. Her research has included gastroenterology topics, namely liver disease, biliary and pancreatic diseases, upper and lower gastrointestinal disease and IBD. Based on this research and fellowship training she has received several awards and honors, such as one of the best abstracts in UEG Week 20015, Barcelona, Spain entitled “SPONTANEOUS FUNGAL PERITONITIS: A RARE BUT SEVERE COMPLICATION OF LIVER CIRRHOSIS”, “KIDNEY DISFUNCTION: MAIN MARKER OF INTRA-HOSPITAL MORTALITY ASSOCIATED WITH SPONTANEOUS BACTERIAL PERITONITIS”, “CLINICAL APPLICABILITY OF TOKYO GUIDELINES 2013 IN DIAGNOSIS APPROACH AND SEVERITY EVALUATION OF ACUTE CHOLANGITIS” works, the best oral presentation in Semana Digestiva 2015, Portugal entitled “CLINICAL APPLICABILITY OF TOKYO GUIDELINES 2013 IN DIAGNOSIS APPROACH AND SEVERITY EVALUATION OF ACUTE CHOLANGITIS”, the best clinical case presentation in Semana Digestiva 2015, Portugal entitled “Do tempo dos marinheiros aos dias de hoje: manifestação inusitada de uma doença gastrointestinal incomum” and the best endoscopic image/video entitled “Síndroma da ansa aferente causada por enterolitíase”.
