Radiation cataract

Radiation cataract causes partial opacity or cloudiness within the lens and results from broken cells covering the posterior surface of the lens. Symptoms will seem as early together or 2 years following high-dose exposure and lots of years once exposure to lower doses. it′s unclear however often radiation cataracts advance to severe disability, though we′ve got documented in an exceedingly recent study a couple of 20-30% excess at one cataracts that prompted cataract surgery.
