Physiology is a broad sub-field branch of biology that deals with functions and activities of living organisms and their parts (organs, tissues, or cells), including all physical and chemical processes. In other words physiology is defined as the how living systems function and Scientists who study physiology are called physiologists. Physiology is the basis for all of the biomedical sciences, and forms the bridge between all of the other biomedical sciences. Physiology journals deals with how the respected organ functions.
