Phonological Processing

It is a auditory processing is the ability to hear the discrete sounds and able to detect and distinguish them. People suffering with dyslexia have the problem to split the words and differentiate the letters based on the sound they hear.
Phonological processing also plays a role in the memory process, as the sound heard is stored in the brain until it is processed and used. Assessment is done by the oral testing, using the test formats etc.
