As men are more likely to face poorer outcome in health compared to women, mens health and wellbeing is an important issue for the whole community. Men are more observed to experience a range of lifestyle risk factors such as smoking, excess alcohol consumption, insufficient fruit and vegetable consumption and use health service less and at letter stage of illness. Hence, men show above average mortality due to almost all common reasons like cancer, heart disease, suicide, respiratory disease. There are different factors affecting mens health on many levels like Individual (poorer diet and nutrition, greater use of tobacco, genetic and biological factors etc.), Community and organizational (occupational exposure to dangerous conditions, lack of recognition of male indicators of emotional/psychological distress in standard diagnostic tools). There are different principles which can be used as guidelines for mens health and wellbeing like identifying mens different health issues, recognizing influence of distinct factors etc.
