Developmental Coordination Disorder(DCD) is a motor skills neurological disorder which usually affects the children of age 5-6. This affects the movements and coordination in the body which is the result of the incorrect transmission of messages of brain to the body. DCD is commonly known as the clumsy child syndrome. The lack of coordination between the ability of what your body can do to that of the mental intentions.
Symptoms included under DCD are physical impairments, panic attacks, frequent tripping, poor balance, difficulty going down stairs etc.There is no cure found for this disorder but various other statretegies are used like the psychomotor therapy, speech therapy etc are used for the betterment of the person suffering with the disorder.
