Bipolar Disorder Psychopathology

Bipolar disorder, also referred to as Manic Depressive Illness, is an affective disorder characterized by alternating periods of mania and depression. A person mood may be extremely irritable and impulsive during the manic phase, and extremely sad and lethargic during the depressive phase.
