Research Scientist, Albany medical centre in the department of cardiovascular sciences, Ph.D. SCHOLAR in Neurology & Molecular Cell Biology, MBBS

Biography

My name is Jes Paul. I am born and bought up in India, I did my PhD from India after that I did one postdoc and one research associate study in USA. All of my work is related to clinical research including Ph.D. I thought i need more intense and vast knowledge about clinical medicine, Research and Teaching. So I joined medical school (International American University).I got practical knowledge in clinical medicine and research.

I have done Ph.D. in Neurology & Molecular Cell Biology, stem cells with 3 years’ post-doctoral training, Master’s degree with 7 years’ post-graduate training and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).Currently I am working as a Research Scientist in Albany medical centre in the department of cardiovascular sciences. My publications include 31(Research gate, Pub med) Papers in international journals (Pub Med) and Presented 20 Abstracts in various international conferences and I am also a Editorial member and reviewer member of many international journals like IRPH Journal since four years.

I posses ability, knowledge and expertise in cellular molecular neurobiology, stem cell, cell biology, Pathophysiology, medical biochemistry Genetics and fulfil with clinical research and therapeutics is enclosed with this message.

During my time at Texas Tech University as Research associate (Department of Neurology) and Ohio state university as post doc researcher (Department of Neurological surgery), I was able to succeed and increase productivity in my research as well as teaching. I had presented many case studies too. During my medical science course (International American University) and clinical rotation (Milton Cato Memorial Hospital) I have medically assisted doctors in various department. Recently I have been working as a Research Associate (Albany medical centre cardiovascular science).

With the above mentioned experiences and skills I’ll do my best to help to achieve goals if given a chance and will also work hard even in stressful conditions. I’m totally willing to do whatever you need. I am very much interested and excited to be a part of the team.

Research Interest

First Goal My overriding goal is to develop a career as a Professor-Scientist. Toward that end I have done clinical rotation and continue to maintain my skills through clinical activities. I have learned to use a genetic approach for the identification of mutations. Analysis of the DNA from patients will help us to refine the locus for disease and ultimately identify the genetic mutation causing the disease. I believe that a genetic approach for the identification of proteins operant in the pathogenesis of disease is very powerful. In addition, an important compliment to this approach is the ability to employ the principles and methods of molecular biology to begin to answer questions about the function of these proteins in health and disease. I plan to use these principles and methods using the proteins that I have helped to identify through the use of genetic techniques. My primary research interests continue to be in the development of practical/statistical sound methodology to address the challenges in such scenarios, with special emphasis on medical analysis, data mining and the genetics.

Second Goal I also have a long-term goal of understanding the degenerative effects of neurological and other disorders with a view to facilitating improved patient care and therapy. Consequently, I have been involved in the research based on stem cells. There are many ways in which stem cells, Embryonic stem cell can be used in research and the clinic. Predictably controlling cell proliferation and differentiation requires additional basic and advanced research on the molecular and genetic signals that regulate cell division and specialization. While recent developments with iPS cells suggest some of the specific factors that may be involved, techniques must be devised to introduce these factors safely into the cells and control the processes that are induced by these factors. I am interested in developing methodology for comprehensively assessing the entire sequence of frames. In the long run, the goal is to be able to identify cracks bigger than a certain size automatically, while also to evaluate the growth trajectory of smaller cracks from one inspection to the other.
