Transcriptomics

Transcriptomics is the study of the transcriptome which is the complete set of all RNA including molecules including mRNA, rRNA, tRNA, and other non-coding RNA transcripts that are produced by the genome. Transcriptomes can be used for comparison purpose which allows the identification of genes that are expressed in different manner in distinct cell populations.
