Cell Transplantation

Cell transplantation is defined as transference of cells within or in-between individuals of the same or different species. It is also known as autogenic stem cell transplantation. It is an autologous transplantation. The stem cells are undifferentiated cells. These stem cells are removed, stored, and later given to the same person. Example: hemapoietic stem cells.
