Cell Physiology is a study of cell mechanisms and interaction with its environment. Some of the examples are absorption of water by roots, production of food in fatty wrap, growth of shoots towards light. Cells are of two types: prokaryotes, eukaryotes. Characteristics are genetic code on DNA, nucleotides, non-nucleotides, DNA polymerase and DNA topoisomerase, DNA ligase and repair enzymes. ATP is an energy intermediate. Physiological processes are movement of proteins, active & passive transport autophagy, cell division, adhesion, cell division and metabolism.
