Biography

Noureddine Hamamouch is originally from Morocco, after his Bachelor degree in Plant Biology, he attended that Mediterranean Agronomic Institute in Crete-Greece and earned his Masters degree in Plant Natural Products and Biotechnology. In 2000 he received a scholarship for PhD studies Plant Molecular Biology and Biotechnology at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University in Virginia, USA. Dr Hamamouch was a postdoc at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center in Pittsburgh and also at North Carolina State University, both in USA. He was a lecturer at Longwood University in Virginia and has given lectures in the area of molecular biology and biotechnology at different universities in Europe. Dr Hamamouch is currently a faculty member at the University of Sultan Moulay Slimane in Morocco

Research Interest

Molecular plant-pathogen interaction, plant biotechnology, plant molecular biology, and plant genetics, plant natural products.
