Biography
Dr. Xiang is currently an Associate Professor in Department of Clinical Pharmacy, School of Pharmacy, Fudan University. He earned his B.S. in pharmaceutics from School of Pharmacy, Peking University and M.S. in Pharmacy from National University of Singapore. During 2005-2006, he worked National Cancer Centre Singapore where he conducted pharmacogenomic research of anticancer drugs and anticoagulant drugs. In 2007, he joined CombinatoRx and worked as a DMPK scientist in the field of drug metabolism and drug-drug interactions. In 2008, Dr. Xiang moved to Finland to pursue his Ph.D degree under the supervision of Professor Neuvonen and Professor Niemi in Department of Clinical Pharmacology, University of Helsinki. He has been awarded 3 research grants as PI. Till now, he has published over 12 peer-reviewed papers in clinical pharmacology and drug metabolism. Dr. Xiang is also teaching several undergraduate and graduate courses, such as pharmacogenomics, pharmacotherapy, clinical pharmacokinetics and pharmacology.Research Interest
Dr Xiangââ¬â¢current research focus is pharmacogenomics, drug-drug interaction, and PBPK modeling.
