Biography
I was born in Adana on February 3, 1977. After completing the fundamental and undergraduate education in Baraj High School, Adana, Turkey, I attended to the Department of Biology, Ãukurova University, Adana, Turkey. I completed the MSc and PhD studies at the same department. Then, I work in Adiyaman University, Adiyaman, Turkey since 2007. I gained Assoc.Prof.Dr. degree on November 23, 2012, from Inter-Universities Council, Ankara, Turkey. Besides, I studied the toxicological analysis of pesticides and heavy metals in non-target freshwater organisms like fish in past, I am currently studying the toxicology of pharmaceuticals on non-target freshwater organisms like Daphnia magna. I am able to do enzymatic analysis, gene expression analysis, and protein analysis using spectrophotometric, electrophoretic techniques, and also using real-time PCR technique. I am trained in different techniques such as LC-MS-MS, GC-MS, fluorescent microscopy, and spectroscopy; therefore, I participated in constructing the Central Laboratory of Adiyaman University, Adiyaman, Turkey. I am able to do correct statistical analysis, which is in the heart of toxicological studies. As you can already see in the attached C.V., I reviewed many manuscripts for toxicology journals and I participated to the journal of Archive of Industrial Hygiene and Toxicology as an advisory board member.
