Biography
Shereen Tang is an anaesthesiologist and lecturer at Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia Medical Centre, Malaysia. She has extensive clinical, research and education background in anaesthesia and intensive care with special research interest in regional anaesthesia and professional safety and well-being. Her recent projects includes writing tutorial series for ?Anaesthesia Tutorial of the Week?, designing solar powered laryngoscope and active participation under the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists as well as Lifebox which promotes safe anaesthesia and surgery. She is an avid speaker for the Diploma in Regional Anaesthesia (University of Montpellier, France) and a member of the speaker bureau for Lifebox.org. Shereen is a dedicated and caring mother, daughter, wife, friend, teacher, mentor, baking enthusiasts, food aficionado and passionate reader who believes in a well-balanced life. She is grateful and blessed with her amazing family and friends and looks forward to a fuller life in the future.
