Biography
Cheng Luo received his Ph.D. degree in biomedical engineering from University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (UESTC), Chengdu, China, in 2011. Between 1999 and 2007, he worked as a radiologist in hospital. In 2013, he was a postdoctoral fellow at Montreal Neurological Institute in McGill University, Montreal, Canada, working on epileptic functional connectivity based on EEG-fMRI. He is working school of life science and technology in UESTC as associate professor, and is vice director of the High-Field Magnetic Resonance Brain Imaging Key Laboratory of Sichuan Province in China. There are more than 50 peer-reviewed articles published on the professional journals such as Human Brain Mapping, Neuroimage, and Epilepsia. The cited number of these articles during recent five years is larger than eitgh hundred. He is also the peer-reviewer of more than ten Journals, including Neurology, Human brain mapping, Neuroimage and so on.

Research Interest
My current research focuses on the methodological development on the fusion of EEG and fMRI, on the resting state fMRI analysis, and on the functional and structural connectivity analysis. In addition, the application of these newly developed tools in epilepsy, schizophrenia and the plasticity of human brain is included. A series of studies are about the epilepsy, in which the location of epileptic foci and epileptic network, and cognitive disturbance are main targets.
